So how can I sum up today… well, lets just say it’s been a healthy day… why? well, rather than my usual sleep, eat, surf, eat, sleep routine… I actually went to do laps for a couple of hours with ‘biya at the tracks and did a bit of heavy lifting at the gym today…then after Maghrib, went to the driving range at the Empire with the rest of the family… I tell you, I suck….out of the hundred balls, i think half of it were out of bounds..haha….it’s been a while……. but now that I knw where the driving range is, I’ll actually have somewhere to go from now on, rather than Mall saja~ but with me being my usual capi-capi self there… i have a feeling they’ll put me in the ban list pretty soon.. hahaha~

This is the ASUS Z801 Karaoke Phone.. so what’s so cool about it… well, the name itself just gave it away… IT HAS A KARAOKE FEATURE!!! When you play back an MP3 on the Z801, you can sing along and the phone will speech-to-text what you say and display the words right on the phone. Cooliess~! It would’ve been perfect if they only included a pitch change button so I can sing both the Diana Ross and Lionel Richie parts of Endless Love. HAHAHAHAHA… oooh ooh, that reminds me…. I just found out that my name means singer/’penyanyi’…I always thought it meant (at least I HOPED it meant) ’the strong one’ or or… ‘the adorable one..’ *sigh*… penyanyi pun penyayi lah…. it could’ve been worse…lyk being known as ‘hang kebun’ or something.. haha

Hello wahai teman-teman ku…. Tonight was my DVD/movie night… Just bought The Host.. it’s, well… I’ll just get back to that… before watching the The Host, I was channel surfing and The Bodyguard was on! brought me straight back to the early 90s… I was what, hmm.. 7 or 8 years old…and even as young as I was back then, I already liked the movie and of course, the soundtrack…those were the glory days of Whitney Houston (I used to call her Whitney Nestum back then tho..haha..) before she turned into.. well u know… High~ haha.. but she’s coming back with a new album pretty soon so be on the look out for that.. anyways, that’s beside the point.. as I was saying… man, yes The Bodyguard… and and remember, the hit song from the movie that goes “…Aaanddd~~~ IIIIIIIII~~~ Will Alwaaaaaaayyyssss~~~~ Love Yooouuuuuuuuuu~”… I just had to sing along to it when the end credits started rolling… while my mum probably went..”napa tia anak ku sorang ani… tinggi ‘ja pelajaran..” hahaha.. so anyways, it’s still stuck in my head so it’ll probably end up being my shower song for tomorrow/later… hahah.. next! The Host (Review)
As I mentioned before, I bought the DVD tonight (extremely good quality I might add)… the movie was out in Brunei Cinemas here a few months ago, but I never got the chance to catch it.. so I would like to thank piracy for giving me the opportunity, coz without you.. I’d hafta buy $30 worth of DVD instead of $5..hahha..
Just a brief outline of the movie…The Host is a popular South Korean monster movie. It was a hit back there and also garnered a substantial amount of international buzz. The story is pretty simple actually. It revolves around a disfunctional family who must work together in order to save someone they dearly love from a monster. The great thing about the movie is that it doesn’t waste time by explaining how the monster came about… put simply, the monster was just a result of the dumping of toxic chemicals into the Han river by an asshole…and from there, it was all screams…. The computer generated monster (courtesy of a creative partnership between Weta Workshop who were responsible for King Kong & LOTR and The Orphanage who were involved in Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire and Sin City) is probably one of the main attraction of the movie. Yet, other than the monster madness thrill-ride, the movie was also a human drama and a kind of Social Commentary which reflected the problems today’s world which includes unemployment, war/military (particularly Agent Yellow which was a direct reference to Agent Orange used during the Vietnam War), Government coverups and the struggles of the commoners…All in all, it’s a great and a must watch movie…so Hollywood better not screw the movie up by remaking it.. To those who haven’t had the chance to watch The Host, ShitSoil recommends it
English – The Universal Language?
*yawn* I am so tired tonight so I’ll just keep it short.. and besides, the espeed’s at it again..it’s been really slow these past few days..so it’s really annoying the heck out of me… So how did the MFA interview go.. ? well Alhamdulilah, it went pretty well than expected… those who conducted the interview were friendly and I guess the whole vibe was great… and I was the first to go in~ so sanang ati, masuk awal abis pun awal~ so as I was saying, it went smoothly.. succeeded in preventing myself from looking too much like a smartass..~ haha.. surprisingly, it just took about 10-15 mins or so… so it wasn’t that bad… insyAllah, if all goes well I’ll still have another stage of the interview to go through…

ok, I knw I’ve been talking about the iPhone for quite some time now… but seriously… it’s finally here.. no joke whatsoever.. THIS IS THE iPhone… no bullshit…unfortunately, it’s not the Apple iPhone that you have all been anticipating…It turned out, the iPhone is a VOIP phone made by Linksys. Cisco, their parent company, has owned that trademark since 1996…so unfortunately for Apple… they’d have to come up with another name for their iPhone cellphone if it does really exist… hmmm, may i suggest it be called The Apple CiscoissuchapartypooperPhone?

I’m blogging early tonight as I have a job interview tomorrow at the Min. of Foreign Affairs ~… I’de be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous… yet, i can honestly say that I am more excited.. so what am I expecting for tomorrow.. well, as usual… I’ll just hafta to go w/ the flow and try my best… if working at MFA is my ‘jodoh’..then as they always say.. “insyAllah, kalau jodoh tak kemana..” so wish me luck…. heee heee 
Live Free or DIE HARD
Remember back in the day when Bruce Willis was still one badass mofo in those Die Hard movies…well, good news… the one man army John McClane (Willis) is back in the latest installment of the Die Hard franchise entitled Live Free Or Die Hard. After watching the trailer, it is safe to say that is one of those movies which has enough testosterone to even grow hair on Orlando Bloom’s chest… hahaha.. In the first movie, he took on a hostage takeover, then the plane hijacking on the 2nd one… the 3rd… uuuh,, ok, I can’t remember what he was up against on that movie… all I can remember, Samuel L Jackson was on that one…… oh oh, hold on.. it’s coming back to me now, on the 3rd movie he was up against the brother of the villian from the 1st movie.. so what’s in store for Johnny this time around? Well, the fourth film of the action franchise will feature John McClane (Willis) attempting to stop a techno-terrorist from shutting down the nation’s computer systems on the Fourth of July. The story takes place around Washington, DC. The movie opens on June 29, 2007.

I wasn’t on hiatus.. it was just one of those days..I was just plain lazy… don’t worry, I’ll surely have more of my malas blogging days.. so be on the look out for the upcoming one… so what’s been up since we last ‘met’….weeell~ I was just having my ‘indon movie’ night… a few weeks ago it was ‘Eiffel I’m In Love’.. and today it was ‘Apa Artinya Cinta?’…hmm.. yea that should be right… u know, I am honestly enjoying these indon teen movies… definately due to the hott babes… but other than that, they just tend to be really funny… so as u might imagine, I’m usually laughing my ass off at 2am alone watching these movies mcm urang gila~ hahaha…anyhooteers~ I pampered myself w/ a new haircut instead of the usual ’surung kusung’ at a ‘Saloon’…. ok, that didn’t sound masculine.. let me rephrase that… i had haircut at a ‘MANLY’ professional babershop…. hahaha. so yipeee~! finally letting my hair grow…. a new haircut for the new me….eseh men…let’s just hope i don’t end up looking like a dork with hair…. oh oh, I also bought a SpongeBob plush toy~ naaaaiiiss~
Ding Dang
Hey, remember these?! I was at Hua Ho Sengkurong tonight and noticed that they were selling Ding Dang…these are so old skool! So I bought not one but TWO! I remember these from back in the day and i would always go to my grandpa’s (may Allah SWT bless his soul) mini mart and buy them..or at least I think I did… either that or I just took ‘em and told grandpa later on about it..haha… so as i was saying, these were really cool back then.. I remember how they’de always advertise these on TV1 or TV2.. (mind you kids, this was long before ASTRO) and I would always buy into their gimmick of floating toys and ridiculously powerful water pistols….the ad went something like.. “DING DANG~~ Dengan Bebola Coklat Lazat Dan Gasing Kontot~! ”..ok, ku antam pulang tu..but something like that lah…hahha…. yes, it was always about the toys… screw the chocolate balls.. they were usually ’masuk angin’ anyways… so as I was opening the box tonight, I still had that excited kid in me~ but unfortunately, the toy was pretty crappy.. i don’t even know what it’s suppose to be… what ever happened to the whole ‘floating’ Gasing Kontot? What has the world come to!!
Eragon (Review)
Oh gosh… I just watched this movie a couple of nights ago…. personally, I thought it was your typical Fantasy movie……don’t mean to be a party pooper, but basically it’s one of those ‘cliche-ish’ movies (so it wouldn’t matter anyway)… where the main character (in this case a farmer boy) least expectedly gets chosen as a saviour…he gets a Dragon which he initially bitches about.. I mean c’mooonn! who wouldn’t want a dragon!! to make matters worse, this ’saviour’ turns out to be a major pain in the ass… he does something stupid, his stupid actions lead to a disastrous consequence and he regrets it later…. yadayadayada~ eventually a final battle scene…he makes up for his previous wrong doings by saving the day….happy ending..WOOPDEEDOOO!…plot-wise, this movie is a direct copy of Star Wars: A New Hope….they just added dragons…… the only positive thing I can say about the movie is probably the amazing visuals during the final battle, and Jeremy Irons (who plays the mentor) who at least made an effort to bring some life in the film…..but I’m sure many would disagree w/ me… so to those who liked the movie, good news for u..like LOTR, Eragon is made up of 3 books… so there are 2 more Eragon movies coming your way…

I’m so HAPPY~ weee!.. i finally found my SpongeBob The Movie DVD after weeks of being frustrated finding it…so to make up for loss times…watched it tonight with a smile on my face, a Snapple on one hand and a smoked beef sandwich on the other…hehehe… now I’m in my room, just finished watching an episode of Heroes… ani taking a break for a bit and obviously blogging… and sambung lagi right after this…so I’m just gonna keep it short tonight…”whoooooooo~ lives in a pineapple under the sea~?!”

ok, I’ve talked about the new Lexus LS460 a few months ago and I talked about how shitsoil-ish (i mean that as a compliment) the IS500/IS-F is…so brace yourself, coz I’ve got more in store….Though the GS has always been my ‘motivational’ car to get my lazy ass up and finish my assignments, I always wanted a Lexus wagon…..and guess what, *jeng*jeng*jeng*… the people at Lexus are actually in the process of making one… The LF-X…. below are a couple of concept designs… so far, they look ‘nyeeehh’..let’s just hope the production version will look way better…
