Ellewww~ … man it seems I’m like the ony one that hasn’t seen the 3rd Spidey movie while everyone else’s been reviewing it oredy.. haha..insyAllah soon soon…….but speaking of movies.. i really wanna watch that Terowongan Casablanca movie which is showing only at The Empire…unfortunatley, Spiderman 3  is hogging all the timeslot, hence they only have a show until 4:40pm and in rare occasions  jumps way to 12 midnight… some reviews have been saying that it’s way scarier than Jangan Pandang Belakang.. so being a sucker for horror flicks, I’ll have to check it out soon…

In another Marvel-related news, it has been announced that Tim Roth will play the villain Abomination as well his alter ego Emil Blonsky in the restart Hulk film (The Incredible Hulk)  which also stars Edward Norton as the title character and the ooh la la Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, who was played by Jennifer Connelly in the previous Hulk film.

Blonsky is a KGB agent who deliberately exposes himself to the gamma rays that caused Bruce Banner to morph into the Hulk. Blonsky has upped the dosage, making him larger and stronger than the Hulk, but unable to change back to human form. He blames Banner for his problem, and makes his best efforts to destroy the Hulk.

A big Hulk Smash to Marvel Studios for the fantastic choices in casting so far for the movie… The film is expected to be released on June 13 2008.

Last but not least… in a kinda-Superhero news, geologists have discovered that Kryptonite..yes, the green stone that turns the Man-of-Steel into a pussy is in fact real.. well sorta…. apparently, the chemical compostion (sodium lithium boron silicate hydroxide) found in this ‘Kryptonite’ matched to the fictional Kryptonite mentioned in the movie….to wannabe Supervillains out there, sorry to burst your bubbles… but the real thing isn’t green and it’s not radioactive either…

Kryptonite, which robbed Superman of his powers, is no longer the stuff of comic books and films.

A mineral found by geologists in Serbia shares virtually the same chemical composition as the fictional kryptonite from outer space, used by the superhero’s nemesis Lex Luther to weaken him in the film “Superman Returns”.

“We will have to be careful with it — we wouldn’t want to deprive Earth of its most famous superhero!,” said Dr Chris Stanley, a mineralogist at London’s Natural History Museum.

Stanley, who revealed the identity of the mysterious new mineral, discovered the match after searching the Internet for its chemical formula – sodium lithium boron silicate hydroxide.

“I was amazed to discover that same scientific name written on a case of rock containing kryptonite stolen by Lex Luther from a museum in the film Superman Returns,” he said.

The substance has been confirmed as a new mineral after tests by scientists at the Natural History Museum in London and the National Research Council in Canada.

But instead of the large green crystals in Superman comics, the real thing is a white, powdery substance which contains no fluorine and is non-radioactive.

The mineral, to be named Jadarite, will go on show at the London’s Natural History Museum at certain times of the day on Wednesday, April 25, and Sunday, May 13

So they’ve finally released the official picture of Iron Man Mark III armor from the upcoming movie… designed by the legendary Stan Winston, the armor is obviously way advanced looking as compared to the Mark 1 I posted earlier….

ok.. just to get things started, I’ll just start with an exclusive entry. Taken in Fort Worth Texas, (Tieexas~ *spits tobacco*)… Here is THE FIRST look at Royal Brunei Airline’s upcoming Boeing 777… the picture is probably taken fresh from the uuumm.. those Boeing-making factories or whatever they call it … and it doesn’t seem to be registered yet…so its gonna be a while til it actually operates here in Brunei… however, word has it that it is coming in August insyAllah… cantek nampak.. exterior-wise that is… can’t wait to see what they have to offer on its inside as well… especially its seats and my personal favourite.. its gadgets which I’m hoping will include a butt massager… click the image below for a closer look

Dark Knight First Look

Of all the superhero movies that’s coming soon, apart from the Transformers,  the sequel to Batman Begins – The Dark Knight - is probably the one that I’m anticipating…. I did a post on it a while back (here).. as matter of fact, it was my first real post on shitsoil.. and finally, a picture of what is said to be a first look of Heath Ledger as the Joker… HOWEVER, I’m assuming that this is from an earlier scene or a flashback scene from the film coz it doesn’t look like he’s go that freaky Joker look yet…though, if you look closely, you can see green highlights which may indicate that Christopher Nolan will go for the classic Joker look…. click image below for a closer look
